Flow blue china originated in the 1820’s during the Regency era, from the hands of Staffordshire potters of England. The vivid blue that this antique china is known for comes from crushed cobalt. At this time, the mineral cobalt was some thing the designers of this china knew would survive the high heat of the kiln.

On this variation of flow blue china, the white designs are raised to the touch, offering a beautiful dimension.
