Generation to Generation
When I was given the remaining bits of my Mother’s more than 100 years old childhood tea set, I wanted to somehow preserve bits of it. Luck was on my side as I searched for an artist who was able to create jewelry from the bits.
Mary-Ann Wood, of DinnerWear Jewelry, was able to preserve memories of the once precious played with china, and it lives again!
I chose to have her use every single bit from three saucers, a chipped creamer and a broken sugar. She was able to craft 8 pairs of earrings, 13 pendants of various sizes, 6 charms, 1 brooch and 1 tie clip. All were bound with Sterling Silver and came with chains. I am beyond pleased with the results!
…I just mailed Mary-Ann the last saucer to be made into awesome memories! ~ Kathy Stillings
